I recently joined Plated as a UX Designer. Plated is a meal delivery service based out of New York City that delivers nationwide. If I’ve learned anything in the startup world is that every startup is different.

This is the first time in a very long time that I’m heavily involved in defining the brand. My first task was to define a unique look for Plated. I want to bring in more lifestyle elements to the brand. I want our customers to be able to feel like they can place themselves in these scenes. The brand should feel like the friend you like going camping with.

To get the look and emotion out of these photos, we worked with Alice Gao and West Elm. Alice brought her incredible sense of style and West Elm delivered the goods. The result was incredible. More to come!
